Downloading a Web page and its images (Mac OS)

You can download a Web page, complete with all the images it references, from any Web site that you can visit with a Web browser. You don't need FTP access to the directories containing the page and images. The page you download opens in an Adobe GoLive document window when the download is complete.

The page and its images are downloaded to a single folder, a structure that probably doesn't reflect their relative locations at the Web site. Media files or images referenced by scripting languages such as JavaScript are not downloaded. (For example, rollover images are not downloaded.)

To download a Web page and its images:

1 Be sure you have a live Web connection.

2 Choose File > Download Page.

3 Enter the URL for the page.

4 Click Save As, specify a location, and click Save.

Since the page you'll download is probably a number of files, consider creating a new folder for them at the location you specify.
